We were approached by the owner Neville to sort out some website issues he was having on his current WordPress site. After the issues were fixed we made some adjustments to the look and feel of the website. During the initial meeting, competitors were identified and a list of action points was identified in how the current site could convert more visitors and how we were going to drive more traffic to the site.
What we have done:
The site had never been worked on from a marketing perspective before so we have completed all of the on-site search engine optimisation and created new content relevant to the keywords identified during the initial client meeting and after competitors research was carried out using Ahrefs and SEM Rush.
We have added page loading time optimisation plugins and moved the hosting to an alternative provider who offers a new type of server called Litespeed. Not only is it quicker than the previous but the client is now saving over £30 per month.
Big Mouth Digital have also been running facebook promotions on an ad-hoc basis depending on the seasonal demands for the business, e.g. Christmas and we have optimised the ads the best that is possible on the budget agreed with the client.
Backlinks have been added on relevant sites and initial blogger outreach has been carried out.
What we are going to be doing:
We have spoken to other people in the industry and they have identified that Instagram is very successful for driving sales and potential customers so in month 2 we will be creating and adding engaging content to achieve this.
Social proof is something that every business should be spending time on and we are looking to identify some previous customers willing to talk about their experience on video and are due to launch some promotional videos showcasing the art and the owner of the business to give the site more credibility.
In addition to this, we will be adding relevant content on a regular basis centred around the artists who are listed for sale on the site and the key phrases that potential customers are searching for as identified using our research and analysis tools.
