Rutledge Recruitment & Training are a leading provider of Recruitment and Training services from their 15 offices across Northern Ireland. Their services include Permanent/Temporary Recruitment, Healthcare Recruitment and Domiciliary Care Services, Corporate Training, and Government training initiatives (Training for Success, ApprenticeshipsNI, Steps 2 Success Programmes).
Their senior management team were keen to refresh their business’s online presence by launching a new website that would better engage with their target audiences and generate higher recruitment conversions and increased training sales revenue.
We knew that Rutledge’s website needed to convey trustworthiness, reliability and quality to their target customers, due to the gravitas of the services offered.
Our approach to the revamp
We commenced the project with in-depth research to understand the specific improvements Rutledge required for their new website. We also conducted an in-depth analysis of their key recruitment and training competitors to ensure that the new site would not only go above and beyond their expectations but also offer a better experience than competitor sites.
Designed to convert
Based on our initial research we designed a simpler and easier to navigate user interface that highlighted the company’s experience, reputation and success in delivering their complimentary services. All pages were created with potential new visitors in mind and featured a streamlined workflow to increase recruitment engagement and bookings for training services.
Mobile friendly and search optimised
The finished website is fully responsive to mobile users, critical when over 50% of internet searches are now conducted on mobile devices. This includes the ability to apply for jobs and pay deposits to book on the broad range of training courses. Additionally, we fully optimised the entire site for search engine performance. This will increase search engine rankings and attract higher numbers of visitors to the new site.
By choosing to build the new site with WordPress, the most popular open-source content management system CMS, the site will be easy for Rutledge Recruitment & Training to update with new jobs and training courses, as and when they need to.
We have also installed Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to constantly monitor key metrics moving forward
