Naomi and Anthony Patton have a lovely self-catering accommodation called Ash Cottage in Carrowdore, Northern Ireland. They wanted a modern website which allowed people to book the cottage online and pay a deposit or pay in full online. The new site also allows visitors to check availability of the cottage and saves having to email Naomi & Anthony to check dates.

To ensure the site was as visually effective as possible, we engaged our professional photographer John Gibson to take new promotional images and our sister company Big Windmill Promotions to develop a walk through video and aerial imagery of the property to show the cottage to its full effect. Video increases the engagement and ensures an emotional connection to the accommodation when visitors come on to the website.

The new website is search engine optimised, mobile friendly and as it was important to ensure that the new web site could be easily managed and updated. The video was edited and uploaded to youtube and vimeo in order to help social media engagement as well as organic search engine results. BCS also trained Naomi on the content management system to allow her to update availability for bookings received offline and to manage customer interactions and payments via the website.
